「文字の顔」?

Typography?

英語で「書体」という意味の「Typeface」は直訳すれば「文字の顔」。

最近、このようなlowbrowなものが多いですね。タイプフェイスを一般の人に親しみやすくしているのだと思いますが、変な既成概念にならないといいのですが。

Type design

宇野由希子さんから、発売前のかな書体「こうぜい」をいただきました。言うまでもなく、筆のストロークがカーニングして、リガチャーも、ヴァリアントも優美な書体です。
U+200c(Zero-width non-joiner)で流れを切ったり、またつなげたり、できるところが新鮮です。
